The North Carolina Association of Naturopathic
Physicians (NCANP) is currently in its tenth year
of legislative actively seeking licensure of
Naturopathic doctors in North Carolina.  Currently,
naturopathic physicians practice under licenses
issued in other states; however, those licenses
are not officially accepted or sanctioned by the
state of North Carolina. The Naturopathic Doctors
Licensing Act to license or register Naturopaths, if
enacted, would change that status and allow us
clinically trained and formally educated doctors of
naturopathic medicine to practice freely and within
the standards set out by the North Carolina’s laws
of this state.

These efforts to secure licensure for Naturopathic
doctors require funds to retain a lobbyist, educate
the keep legislators informed and provide
educational materials for in support of our
NCANP’s bill. We need your help in making this
bill become making the Naturopathic Doctors
Licensing Act a reality in North Carolina. All
contributions go directly to support the bill’s
passage. Much of the administrative work is done
by naturopathy volunteering their time and energy.
Contributions of any amount are greatly
appreciated!
