Dr. Leang Eap is a Naturopathic doctor and Feng Shui consultant with diverse
education background and technical experience. She treats physical, mental, and
emotional health, encouraging a balance of energy among her patients and clients.
In 1978, a Buddhist monk in Vietnam trained Dr. Eap in oriental medicine.  In 1979,
she continued her informal training in acupuncture in a Malaysian refugee camp as
an apprentice under an vietnamese acupuncturist. In 1980, Dr. Eap settled in
Virginia and was admitted to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
(Virginia Tech). Four years later, she graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Chemical
Engineering and a minor in Chemistry. After working as a manager for General
Motors for a year, Dr. Eap became a computer consultant. However, she wasn’t
satisfied with her career and decided to return to the academic life to study medicine.

In 1988, Dr. Eap decided to move to Portland, Oregon, where she simultaneously
attended two medical colleges, National College of Naturopathic Medicine and
Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, with a full course load in both schools. Dr. Eap’
s training in oriental medicine was to supplement her doctorate degree in
Naturopathic Medicine, which she received in 1993.

In 1995, Dr. Eap took on another type of training. She learned the various arts and
practices of Feng Shui3, under the guidance of Feng Shui master, Yap Cheng Hai,
and through the Black Hat School4. However, most of her training is through the Qi-
Mag School under the training of Dr. Jes T.Y. Lim,  incorporating many different
Feng Shui schools or systems of practice. For her Feng Shui training, Dr. Eap has
traveled to many countries worldwide to observe, learn, and practice facilitating the
natural elements and earth energies. Places she has traveled to for these trainings
include: China, Switzerland, the United States, Canada, Germany, Malaysia, and
India, Mexico.  In addition, she has attended numerous seminars worldwide. Dr. Eap
has even conducted her own seminars and led several training courses in Charlotte,
NC.

With her diverse education background, Dr. Eap has learned to blend all her
trainings with her current practice of naturopathic medicine and Feng Shui. In fact,
she has also discovered a way to use her knowledge to treat her patient’s emotional
problems, helping them find balance in their life while releasing “blockages7” in their
personal life. With an objective of “helping people be the best that they can be,” Dr.
Eap is committed to helping her patients and clients improve their physical, mental
and emotional health. Today,  Dr. Eap has taken her practice worldwide, with her
office stationed in Charlotte, NC.
