Steven Koda, ND is a naturopathic doctor who relocated to Asheville, NC from
Washington State where he practiced as a licensed naturopathic physician. Dr.
Koda received his doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr
University. He also holds a JD degree from Seattle University; an MBA from the
University of Washington; and a BSEE from Penn State University.
On becoming a naturopathic doctor:
"My transition into the health care field started when I became a father. My
daughter has had allergies and sensitivities since birth. We learned to eliminate
toxins from our home environment and to eat whole foods, organic foods and free
range products. Even with these practices, challenges remained.
Eventually, I discovered naturopathy and returned to school to study naturopathic
medicine."
On relocating to Asheville, NC:
