Preeta has been working as a naturopathic physician in Raleigh, North Carolina for
the past 8 years. She graduated from Bastyr University in 1996, an accredited
naturopathic medical university. She is licensed in Washington State and is a
member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
She adheres to the naturopathic principles of treating the whole person,
identifying and treating the cause, using the healing power of nature and wellness
and prevention. She primarily focuses on physical medicine, doing different types
of massage and bodywork, hydrotherapy, craniosacral and reiki, together with
nutrition, herbal medicine and homeopathy. However, she welcomes people of all
ages and medical concerns to experience craniosacral with homeopathy and herbs.
Preeta has a varied background. She grew up in Zimbabwe, Africa and left when
she was 19 for Newcastle, England to pursue her Bachelor of Science (Honors) in
physiological sciences. She then moved to Seattle, Washington to do her
postgraduate work in naturopathy. She met her wonderful husband, Tim, there
and they live in North Raleigh now. She enjoys reading mysteries, writing stories
and hiking.
